The Musical Comedy Murders is a humorous play that centers around a production team that is responsible for a Broadway disaster in which three of the chorus girls are murdered by the mysterious “Stage Door Slasher.” In an effort to replace these girls, the team then hosts a backer's audition at an estate of a wealthy woman, but it all goes sour when the "Slasher" makes his appearance and strikes again.
To make matters worse, a blizzard appears out of nowhere and curtails any way of escape. The mansion itself is filled with secret passageways and revolving bookcases, making it more difficult to determine who the murderer is. The mystery is solved in the nick of time and the “Slasher” is unmasked, but not before the audience has been treated to a fun-filled time of laughter and a generous serving of the author’s refreshing wit.
