About SAGU

Waxahachie, Texas – October 7, 2014 – Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) hosts Sermon Series Think Tank on October 14, 2014, in the Sheaffer Center Auditorium

The Oaks Fellowship Spiritual Formation Pastor John Davidson said, "Pastoral teams are constantly trying to learn how to faithfully communicate the gospel through sermons in ways that reach the lost and catalyze Christians to grow." He continued, "Coming together for the Sermon Series Think Tank is an opportunity to collaborate on these subjects, dialogue about best practices in series preparation and discuss how to creatively communicate the gospel."

Sermon Series Think Tank is an event that allows churches and groups to plan their next series in a creative and helpful environment with direction from experts. Churches are presenting their best series ideas at the event, but participating churches get to submit their series ideas and everyone attending can take home the ideas presented. Participants learn series service planning best practices and get free resources from Sermon Series Think Tank partners. This event allows participants to create their sermon series with access to dedicated rooms, coaches and resources.

Individual registration is $25 per person.
Groups rates start at $100.

Conference speakers include Senior Pastor of The Oaks Fellowship Scott Wilson, Founder of Young Pastors Justin Lathrop, Worship Pastor a The Oaks Fellowship Clayton Brooks, Director of The Oaks School of Leadership John Davidson, Owner of Sheepest Design Luke Frederick and Creative Director at The Oaks Fellowship Kelvin Ko.
