SAGU sports update: March 27, 2013Waxahachie, Texas — March 27, 2013 — The Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) baseball team (13-23) played three games against Bacone College in Muskogee, Okla., on Friday, March 22 - Saturday, March 23. They will play the University of the Southwest in Hobbs, N.M., this Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30. Their next home game will be against LSU-Shreveport on Friday, April 5 at 2 p.m. The double-header on Saturday, April 6, will begin at 1 p.m.

The Lady Lions softball team played home games against the University of the Southwest on Friday, March 22, and Saturday, March 23. They won the second game on Friday 5-3. The ladies are doing their best yet with a 11-10 record. The Lady Lions' next home game, a double-header against Northwood University, will begin at 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 28.
