SAGU sports update: January 6, 2013Waxahachie, Texas — January 6, 2013 — On Saturday, February 2, 2013, Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) Men's Basketball defeated Texas Wesleyan, 90-87.

The Lions won Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, against University of the Southwest, 102-70. They are still ranked first in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC). SAGU will play their next home game on Thursday, Feb. 7, at 7:30 p.m. The game will be live streamed on SAGUtv.

After winning their 12th straight game, the Lions is ranked no. 15 in the NAIA and is 15-2 in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC), 21-3 overall.

Lady Lions Basketball (8-16) defeated the University of the Southwest, 78-74, in overtime on Monday.

SAGU Baseball is now 6-4 overall. Their next game is Friday, Feb. 8 at 3:30 p.m. at Waxahachie Sports Complex against Kansas Wesleyan University.
