Waxahachie, Texas — October 31, 2012 — Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) men and women's soccer teams seasons come to an end this weekend. Lady Lion's volleyball will play their last three home games this week. The men and women's basketball teams prepare to begin their season early November.


The football team won 28-27 against Oklahoma Panhandle State University over the weekend. The Lions will play next Saturday, November 3, at Langston University at 2 p.m. SAGU will play their final home game on November 10 at 2 p.m. against Texas College at Lumpkins Stadium.


SAGU men and women's soccer teams wrapped up their season this weekend. The women's soccer team won more games this season than any other since the beginning of the program in 2006.


The Lady Lions volleyball team will play their last three home games of the season on Friday, November 2-3. On Friday, November 2, the Lady Lions will play Wiley College at 7 p.m. On November 3, the ladies will play against Texas College at 11 a.m. Later, at 4 p.m., they will take on Jarvis Christian College.


Both the men and women's basketball teams will begin their official seasons next week. The men's team will play Dallas Christian College on Tuesday, November 6. The Lady Lions will also play against Dallas Christian College on Friday, November 9, at 7:30 p.m. Both games will be played in the Sheaffer Center Gymnasium.
