SAGU sports update: October 16, 2012
Football
SAGU's football team won their Homecoming game against Haskell University (Kansas) 41-0 on Saturday, October 13.
The Lion's next three games will be away games, starting with Wayland Baptist University on October 20. The game will be aired on the internet at 2 p.m. from Plainview, Texas.
The team's last home game of the season will be against Texas College on November 10.
Men's Soccer
On Thursday, October 18, the mens' soccer team will play against Texas Wesleyan University at 1 p.m. Next Saturday's home finale will broadcast live on SAGUtv.
Women's Soccer
SAGU's Lady Lions soccer team beat Our Lady of the Lake University 1-0 on October 11.
This weekend, the womens' soccer team has three games left in the normal season, two of which are home games. On Thursday, October 18, the Lady Lions will play against Texas Wesleyan University at 3 pm. On Saturday, October 20, the Lady Lion's team will play against the University of the Southwest at 12 p.m.
Volleyball
The Lady Lions volleyball team has won their last five games. On October 12 and 13, they beat Huston-Tillotson University 3-0 and the University of St. Thomas 3-2.
The Lady Lions are now 5-1 in the Red River Conference and 13-10 overall this season.
