Lions play next on Tuesday in Grand Prairie

WAXAHACHIE, Texas  --  The three-game baseball series between Southwestern Assemblies of God University and Huston-Tillotson University has been postponed due to weather conditions.

The games are part of each team's Red River Athletic Conference schedule. The schools will seek to make them up.

Southwestern returns to action on Tuesday in a one o'clock doubleheader against Arlington Baptist College. The Lions went 1-2 against the Patriots last spring. They're currently 5-4 while SAGU is 8-4.

ABC plays their home games at QuikTrip Park in Grand Prairie. It is the home of the minor league Grand Prairie AirHogs at 1600 Lone Star Parkway.

It has been called one of baseball's "little jewels." The $20 million facility seats 5,400.

The Lions are slated to play a three-game conference series next weekend against Northwood University. The February 24-25 match-up will be played at the Knights' campus field (on Hwy 1382 / Beltline, west of Hwy 67) in nearby Cedar Hill.
