SAGU Holds First Appointment Day
SAGU is holding its first annual Appointment Day April 8-9, 2010. The event will aid students interested in missions appointment by introducing them to the people, process, and requirements for appointment with the Assemblies of God. National and District missions representatives will be on campus to meet with students and answer various questions.
“So many students feel called to the mission field, but never get there because they do not know how to get started,” commented World Ministries Director Chad Germany. “We want to help them get started while they are still at SAGU."
The ultimate purpose of Appointment Day is to help future missionaries get to the mission field. By introducing students to their District Missions Directors and to the Assemblies of God World Missions personnel department while they are still at SAGU, it will be easier for them to begin their appointment process once they are ready to go to the field.
