Web Sites Official Marks The University Seal Colors Purple - #4F1F91 Co-branding 1. Use of the SAGU wordmark or spirit wordmark graphic in the top left corner of the template for the web site along with other graphics that represent the department or organization (preferred method); 2. Shared use of the header area of the web site template between the SAGI wordmark or spirit wordmark graphic and the graphics from the department or organization. 3. Use of the SAGU wordmark or spirit wordmark graphic within the template for the site in a prominent area other than the header. When co-branding is used, it should be used consistently among all pages of a specific web site to reinforce the branding effects. When co-branding elements have been established between a department/organization and University Marketing, Web Content Manager will work with those elements. Web Content Manager s will coordinate co-branding efforts with the University Marketing. Domain Names Internet websites at SAGU generally will have the form www.sagu.edu/xyz (where xyz is a unique name or identifier for a department, organization, individual, event or other appropriate entity requiring a domain name). For technical reasons, WCM may establish additional servers and names such as www1, www2, etc. in place of www listed above, but for marketing purposes www.sagu.edu/xyz will be used when publicizing the site. There may be times when establishing a special name such as xyz.sagu.edu or www.saguxyz.com is appropriate. University Marketing must approve these exceptions in advance. All web or Internet related questions should be directed to the Web Content Manager. |
