Dear Friend,
As a friend of the Southwestern Athletic Department we wanted give you the opportunity for you or your company to be a Hole Sponsor at our 12th Annual Golf Classic this year. Our athletic department has several needs in every one of our eight varsity programs to be a competitor in the Red River Athletic Conference. Being a Division I institution in the NAIA and the NCCAA has its advantages, but we are also struggling to keep up with conference, and national, competition in our facilities, staffing, and equipment. SAGU athletic teams are starting to make an impact on the national level in several sports, but to continue to excel and compete we need your help! Our athletic staff has decided to try and cover needs that can not be met by the university’s budget with our 12th Annual Golf Classic.
We have set our tournament for May 3rd at the Riverchase Golf Club in Coppell, TX. We have invited friends and alumni of SAGU to participate in the Golf Classic, but we wanted to personally invite you to participate as a Hole Sponsor in the tournament this year.
To participate as a Hole Sponsor we ask for a one time, tax-deductible gift of $1,200 to go towards our athletic department. In return you are provided free entrance into our tournament for a team of four and a sign recognizing your company as a sponsor of the tournament at one of the holes. You will also be given a section on our tournament program and the tournament website to advertise your company, and a special gift from our athletic department to show our appreciation. You and the other members of your team will receive all the amenities of being participants in the tournament including a SAGU Athletics Golf Classic T-shirt, complimentary breakfast, a ticket to our awards lunch, and an opportunity to win door prizes.
