Alumna Jubilee Dickson Speaks to Graduate Counseling and Psychology Class
Thursday, October 7, 2010, SAGU alumnus Jubilee Dickson was the guest speaker for Dr. William Armistead’s graduate “Tests and Assessments” class. Dickson’s presentation focused on her research in test development and complemented Dr. Armistead’s teaching on the technical and research aspects of psychological test construction.
Dickson’s presentation was entitled “Research Assessment: From Idea to Paper.” She recently presented her main research project as part of a research team at the Southwestern Psychological Association in Dallas, Texas.
Jubliee graduated from SAGU in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Pre-Professional Psychology. She recently completed her master’s degree in clinical psychology at Midwestern State University. Dickson has gained valuable clinical experience at North Texas State Hospital, conducting assessments and working with the treatment team. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology at the University of Texas at Arlington. Dickson plans on doing further research in psychological test development.
