AG Minister & Missionary Dependent Grant Form

Minister Grant Information

  • Students eligible for the A/G Minister’s and Dependent Grant will receive 10% off tuition each semester.
  • The Minister’s Grant is for an A/G licensed or ordained minister, spouse or dependent child. The grant for licensed ministers/dependents does not begin until the Fall 2012 semester. Non A/G ministers are not eligible.
  • An Ordained A/G minister, spouse and dependent child can all receive a grant at the same time. Licensed A/G ministers are only eligible for one grant per family. Certified A/G ministers are not eligible for a grant.
  • If the ordained/licensed minister is deceased and the spouse has not remarried, the grant is increased to 50% off tuition for dependent children who enroll full time. If the spouse is remarried, then the student is not eligible for a 10% off grant unless their parent/stepparent is an ordained/licensed minister.
  • In order for a dependent student to receive the Minister Dependent Grant, the student must be undergraduate and enrolled full-time. Students are defined as “Dependent” based upon FAFSA guidelines.
  • The grant cannot be retroactive to previous semesters.
  • Students can only receive one grant at a time. Students will be awarded the highest grant they are eligible to receive.

Missionary Grant Information

  • The Missionary Grant is for an Assemblies of God Nationally Appointed Missionary, spouse or dependent child.
  • Students eligible for the A/G Missionary and Dependent Grant will receive 50% off tuition each semester.
  • The missionary must be nationally appointed with the A/G. Missionary Associates (MA) that have been designated by AGWM to be “Career Missionaries” can appeal for the grant but must receive special approval. MA’s should email Financial Aid with additional questions. District appointed missionaries are not eligible for a grant.
  • In order for a dependent student to receive the Missionary Dependent Grant, the student must be undergraduate and enrolled full-time. Students are defined as “Dependent” based upon FAFSA guidelines.
