Kassi completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in vocal performance with honors from Texas Wesleyan University under the instruction of Sue Buratto. During her tenure in the Masters program at SMU, Kassi sang Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible, Pamina in The Magic Flute, and a variety of opera scenes roles including Mimí in La Bohéme. In 1996-1997 Kassi finished second place in her division in the National Association of Teachers of Singing competition and third place in the National Opera Association competition. She had the blessing of studying with Barbara Hill-Moore and Martha Gerhart. Kassi has also performed with the Amarillo Civic Opera and Casa Mañana Theater in Fort Worth. In 1999, after completing her Masters, Kassi had an encounter with the Holy Spirit. This moment was so prolific in her life that she immediately returned to her true passion in leading people into the presence of God through worship. Kassi has now been in full-time ministry for seven years with her husband, Rick Solis and two daughters, Michaela and Gabriela. Together they work with underprivileged children in Waxahachie and travel across the world preaching the uncompromised Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit.
