Cheré Blair joined the SAGU faculty in 2005 after having taught seven years in public schools from junior high to community college. She holds certifications in secondary English and Social Studies and is currently completing a PhD in English with focuses on Young Adult Literature, Literacy Theory, and Writing Pedagogy. She has published articles and web projects on Young Adult Literature and plagiarism and has presented workshops on various topics related to teaching, writing, and literature. Outside of teaching, Cheré enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys.
