The Student Congress is an organization that provides leadership for the student body, along with many special events for the campus. These events include: Battle of The Dorms, Homecoming Coronation, Homecoming Tailgate Party, Christmas and Valentines Banquets, Finals Week Stress Relief Party, Class Night, Class Chapels, TWIRP Week, Student Led Chapels and more. This organization also governs many groups and organizations of the student body. Furthermore, many of the concerts and special events are sponsored and brought in by the Student Congress. This group of students works to promote Christian fellowship and cooperation among the students and faculty. It encourages religious activity, fosters school pride, promotes school spirit, and builds school loyalty. Students may make recommendations to the Administrative Committee through Student Congress regarding matters of student concern.

Activities Board

The Activities Board plans various Student Congress funded events each semester for the entire student body. The activities include Battle of the Dorms, Homecoming, Stress-Relief Petting Zoo, Spring All-School Fellowship, Valentines Banquet, and Class Night.

Board of Representatives

The Board of Representatives acts as the representative body of the Student Congress in the initiation and implementation of University Policy. They fiscally initiate and sponsor programs which meet tangible student needs. Applications to run for a position are available each spring for returning students and fall for incoming freshmen in the Student Congress office.

Hospitality Committee

The purpose of hospitality committee is to provide a friendly and heart-warming environment through the use of servanthood, encouragement. They celebrate National Holidays by providing snacks for the campus such as National Chocolate Milk Day, National Pizza Day and National Cupcake Day. They appreciate those on campus that may go unseen such as custodial workers, Dorm Pastors, and Residential Assistants.

American Marketing Association

Our purpose if to see the students of SAGU learn the importance of Marketing and have opportunities to build connections with business professionals in the marketing field.

Gold Jackets

Gold Jackets is an all-woman organization. Our focus is serving our campus community and our local community of Waxahachie by volunteering with organizations. We pride ourselves on scholastic achievement, service, and being an example of Christian character and dignity in all its phases, thoughts, deed and appearance.

Women in Ministry

Women of Ministry is an organization that educates about the biblical position of women, encourages each woman's individual call, empowers women to reach their full potential for successful ministry in all walks of life and enables them to be the future women leaders within the Church.

Lions' Pride

This club stimulates school spirit and involvement in all athletic activities.

History Society

History Society is an organization that promotes the study of history; provide opportunities for historical tours and projects; encourage fellowship among individuals interested in history through seminars.

Tech Crew

The Tech Crew acts as the marketing and media department of the Student Congress. They work diligently to provide videos posters and various other marketing tools throughout the year.

Royal Family Kids Camp (RFKC)

Royal Family Kids Camp's vision is that every foster child, ages 6 to 12, experiences a life-changing camp, club, and mentor. Their mission is to create life changing moments for children of abuse. Their purpose is to mobilize the faith community to confront child abuse. Their strategy is to launch and sustain camps, clubs, and mentors. Their values are to treat people royally, keep moving forward, and make moments matter.

Christians United for Israel (CUFI)

Christians United for Israel (CUFI) provides a national association through which every pro-Israel church, parachurch organization, ministry or individual in America can speak and act with one voice in support of Israel in matters related to Biblical issues
