Special Studies Opportunities

The School of Distance Education offers several special credit opportunities each year. These opportunities allow new and current distance education students to attend a special seminar or conference for college credit. All special studies courses are offered at 50% off tuition rates!

To earn credit at these conferences:

  • Apply – Complete the online application above
  • Pay – You can pay online or at the conference. We accept check and all major credit cards (please no cash at conference).
  • Attend – Register for and attend the full conference on the designated date(s) as well as attend a course opening seminar during the event. The course opening seminar is where you will meet the instructor, receive the course syllabus, and discuss course requirements
  • Complete – Complete the post conference assignments as given in the course syllabus.

Pentecostal Doctrine

Description: A Historical study of the Pentecostal and Charismatic movements of the twentieth century. Special emphasis is given to the major doctrines of the Assemblies of God.

Bible Study for Ministry
Presenter: Dr. Leroy Bartel

Description: Valuable Bible Study tools and skills any Christian can use. This course adds a classroom dynamic to ministerial candidates' credentialing studies. Carries college credit option at 50% off tuition with application toward ministerial credential requirements.
