Courses Available

1. Teaching the Bible with Dr. LeRoy Bartel

  • Offered for CEU only
  • This seminar will explore principles for effectively teaching the Bible. The Bible study process that supports effective teaching, preparation of unit and lesson plans, selection of appropriate methodologies, applicational approaches and management of a quality learning experience will be discussed. Special emphasis will be given to what can be learned from the teaching ministry of Jesus and the Early Church.

2. Studies in Classroom Teaching with Dr. Larry Bogle

  • Offered for CEU, undergraduate credit, and graduate credit
  • This seminar will focus on a variety of teaching approaches and you will gain a more accurate understanding of how students learn. Upon completion of this course, the students will be able to: 1. Increase student understanding through active instructional strategies; 2. Learn exciting strategies for accommodating the needs of diverse learners; 3. Improve teacher organizational skills.
