TASP / THEA Information
The Texas Academic Skills Program (TASP) Test has become the Texas Higher Education Assessment (THEA) Test. The content of the test has not changed just the name.
Students who have not previously taken or made a sufficient score on the TASP/THEA are required to take it until a passing score is obtained before being admitted to the Teacher Education Program. Students may receive THEA practice test information through the THEA website below.
Students who wish to register need to contact or come to the Education Department for a registration bulletin. Internet registration is also available at www.thea.nesinc.com.
For students living in the Waxahachie area, the Quick THEA is offered at Navarro College. You may contact Navarro at 1-800-628-2776 for times, cost, and availability.
