Ministry to Children represents the fastest- growing church leadership position today. We develop individuals in the philosophy, theology, and methodology of training the heart, thinking creatively, teaching to all learning styles, developing lesson plans, and reaching children in every context.
Ministry to Parents is emphasized. For the Christian parent, there is no higher calling than raising children to glorify God. We train students to facilitate a partnership between church and home, which provides the best possible impact upon younger generations and those yet to be born.
Ministry to the family is an old concept with great growth in the past decade. We train students to evaluate their impact on families, become more intentional in ministry to families, and be the bridges between older and younger generations. Along with development in children’s ministry, our students are trained in the "Why?" "What?" and "How?" of family ministry, including intergenerational events, family Sunday School, parent-child events, family missions trips, parent discipleship, and more.
